model and property releases

LuckyPix requires photographers to submit model releases if an identifiable person appears in a photograph. If you do not already have signed releases for the images you wish to submit, please download the release forms here in PDF format, have the model(s) sign them, and provide us with copies when you send us your final image files. We do not require property releases, but recommend them when the photo contains private property, landmarks, logos, art, etc.

Keep in mind that sometimes photographers need to negotiate with photo subjects and property owners in order for them to agree to sign a release. And at times certain phrases that cause hesitation will need to be amended or simplified. Please use these release forms and the language they contain as a starting point, and realize that there will be times when you will have to offer the person signing a release something in return, whether simply a copy of the photograph in question or even a small percentage of the potential profits you will earn from the image.
